One of the most successful domaines in the Southern Rhône region, Domaine la Mordorée is meticulously run by the Delorme family. Always anxious to deliver the highest quality, Christophe never stands still and every year brings new improvements in the vineyards as, like many, he believes that the best wines are made in the vineyards producing the highest quality grapes. Every wine gets the same care and the quality of the simplest Côtes du Rhône is equal to the top Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Despite success and multiple awards, the prices remain very reasonable.
Vines with an average age of 60 years. This opulent wine has enticing aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, liquorice and wood smoke. Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée de la Reine des Bois is rich, full bodied with an elegant finish and fine-grained tannins. A serious wine, this has the potential to evolve and drink beautifully for the next 10-15 years.
