Description
Côtes de Ventoux Rosé, Domaine de Fondrèche, Sébastien Vincenti 2021
Domaine de Fondrèche, Mazan, Ventoux
Sébastien Vincenti of Domaine de Fondrèche is widely recognised as one of the two best producers in Ventoux and to make things even better, he has kept very reasonable prices despite the ever increasing fame and demand. His wines are very polished and seductive, yet he always aims to improve his technique. Sébastien is moving to organic culture and uses specific canopy management to produce very ripe and rich wines, whilst harmonising the alcohol.
With the 2015 vintage voted one of Decanter’s Top 50 Rosés in their September 2016 issue, the pale salmon pink Ventoux Rosé Domaine de Fondrèche 2016 is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah with a pretty bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb and spice. Dry, medium bodied with a fresh fruit finish, this makes a delicious aperitif, but also pairs well with lighter seafood dishes.
Grapes: 50% Cinsault. 30% Syrah, 20% Grenache
