The organic Cantina di Toblino was founded in 1960 in the Trentino Alto-Adige region of northern Italy. The vines and winery are situated next to Lake Toblino where the gentle breezes and cooling microclimate make for excellent growing conditions. There are currently 500 members who contribute to the co op and the company itself farms approximately 40 hectares locally. The wines enjoy DOC Trentino status and in 1999 a new winery was built next to the original building to further improve quality and production.
The Gewürztraminer is coming from the vineyards belonging to the Az Agr Toblino – Bio Certified. Thanks to an airy climate and a wide temperature range during the harvest period, perfectly ripe grapes are obtained which guarantee the best expression of the aromas and delicate characteristics of Gewürztraminer.
A brilliant straw yellow color with golden reflections. Intensely aromatic, fine, persistent, spicy with flavors of grapefruit and ripe peaches that complement the classic notes of dog rose, white flowers and honey. On the palate, it is soft, well balanced with an excellent aromatic persistence.
