Description
Pinot Gris Rosé, Domaine de la Provenquière IGP d’Oc 2021
Domaine de La Provenquière, Capestang, IGP d’Oc
Proud of a history dating back to the 15th century, Domaine de la Provenquière is located in the heart of the Languedoc region, near the town of Capestang, a short distance to the west of Béziers. Brigitte and Claude Robert, the grandchildren of the current estate’s founder, are now at the helm, producing their wines from the estate’s 150 hectares with vines planted on clay-calcareous soils. Each grape variety is planted on the soil type that best brings out their individual characteristics.
Acute attention to detail throughout the growing season and the winemaking process means that these fresh, vibrant wines are packed with a mass of fresh ripe fruit flavour, whilst also offering great value for the quality. Meticulous handling of the fruit is supported by techniques, including low temperature fermentations, skin contact and lees ageing. The wines’ authenticity is truly reflective of their sunny southern French origins!
Beautiful pale coral Pinot Gris Rosé IGP Domaine de La Provenquière is intensely fruity with delicious notes of fresh strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants and a gorgeous underlying creaminess. The vibrant, crisp acidity makes this the perfect wine for summer drinking!
