Casa Cello, Entre-Douro e Minho and Dão
Casa de Cello is a family-run winery that has been making wine in their estates for 4 generations. It was in the 80’s that one of the owners, João Pedro Araujo, laid the groundwork of the existing winery by introducing modern viticultural and oenological technologies. Today, Casa de Cello tends 34 hectares of sustainably-farmed vineyards in the regions of Dao, Entre-Douro and Minho producing excellent wines of great value.
The grapes for Vinho Verde Branco Quinta de Sanjoanne come from vineyards grown on granitic soils, in the sub-region of Amarante. The wine is a blend of Loureiro and Avesso.
This elegant Vinho Verde shows fresh aromas of citrus fruits and plenty of mineral notes which come from the vineyards proximity to the ocean. On the palate, Vinho Verde Branco Quinta de Sanjoanne is vibrant and lively, with a pleasant roundness and a touch of salinity.
